Quake Warn for iPad. NOW AVAILABLE

For people especially living in earth quake prone areas, a must-have application to give users those few extra precious moments which can change the course of ones' life. This application tracks all earthquakes with all magnitude and distances from the user location, and alerts the user by push notification of any earthquake conforming to the criteria user sets. This means that even without this application open, you will get an instant notification about the earthquake, giving you a chance to prepare better and respond to a possible situation. It will also help you track your near and dear ones living around you.

Average speed of a "Primary surface seismic wave (fastest)" is about 1 to 5 miles/second. Assuming the fastest wave speed, within a 300 mile radius, this application warns you a minute ahead and lets you prepare instead of panic.

Quake warning features include:

1. List of earthquakes with google map locations, complete with magnitude and distance from current location of user.

2. Push-notification built in to alert user of any earthquake, >3.5 in the vicinity (radius determined by user, e.g. 50 miles).

3. A shakegraph, to have fun with seismograph like feature utilizing the iPhone's built in accelerometer.
