iOS Universal Utilities
Have you ever been in the situation where you had to mix two components and the packaging only told you that you need to "Take 100 parts of component one and 25 parts of component two" - and all you knew was the total amount you needed, i.e. 300 grams?
This app will calculate for you how much of each of the two components you actually need to get the desired 300 grams of total amount, without the hassle to calculate them yourself.
For this app it doesn't matter if you want to calculate ounces, grams, liters, kilotons or gallons, as long as all entries per calculation are in the same unit.
Here's an example:
You need 300 grams of silicone for your art project and the label on the bucket tells you that you need to mix 100 parts of silicone and 25 parts of catalyzer to get the perfect mixture.
So you open up Parts'o'matic on your device and enter '100' into the field for the first element, '25' into the field for the second element and '300' into the field for the total amount. The app will now tell you that you have to mix 240 grams of silicone with 60 grams of catalyzer to get a perfect mixture according to the label with a total weight of 300 grams.
And as an added bonus, in case your scale doesn't do tare, you can add the weight of the container you use to mix your silicone to the total amount by typing its weight into the 'optional additional units' field and it will be added to the total amount for you.
