IMPORTANT: Contrary to what some reviews are saying, you do NOT need a paid Connect Software Subscription to use this. You *only* need a free Connect *user login*. Which is FREE for life, no costs, without any payments whatsoever.

A Connect Software Subscription ( US $19.95 / year ) is OPTIONAL and only needed if you want to share your collection online, backup to the Connect cloud or sync with our, also optional, Comic Collector software for PC and Mac OS X.


With that out of the way, here's what you can do with CLZ Comics 2.0:

Auto-download cover art, creators, characters, etc.. Just enter series titles or scan barcodes with your device camera.

* Automatically add comics to your database
Just enter series titles or scan comic barcodes with your device camera. CLZ Comics will automatically download full issue details, including creator and character lists, sollicitation texts / plot descriptions and cover images.

* Catalog your comic collection & wish list
Track the issues you own and the ones on your wish list. Organize and manage detailed issue information like Series, Issue Nr, Publisher, Publication Date, plus personal stuff like Purchase Information, Condition, Rating, Notes and Tags.

* Browse, sort & search your comic database
Browse your comic database as an issue list, a cover "wall" or in cover flow mode. View full issue information in the details panel. Group issues in Series or Publisher folders. Search your database with the Quick Search box.

* Synchronize data to Comic Collector and Comic Collector Connect (optional)
Do you own Comic Collector for Windows, Mac or the Connect edition?
Then synchronize your database changes with the 2-way Connect syncing.
(Syncing with the desktop software requires Comic Collector 5.3 or higher)


REQUIREMENTS:
- iOS 5.0 or higher
- For barcode scanning: iPhone 3GS and up, iPad 2 and up,
or iPod touch 5th gen and up.
- A Collectorz.com Connect user name (create one free straight from the app)

** NOTE: Your Connect user name is free for life, no extra fees apply! **
We do offer *optional* Connect Software subscriptions ( $19.95 per year ), but you do *not* need them to catalog your collection with the CLZ Comics app.

The optional Connect *Software Subscription* lets you:
* Backup your mobile data to the Connect cloud storage.
* Publish your collection data online, to share it with friends and family.
* Modify (add/edit) your database using the Connect web-based interface.
* Sync changes back and forth between your mobile app, Connect
and the Collectorz.com desktop software for PC and Mac OS X.

What's new

New:
* Series Backdrops:
- Automatically download series backdrops when adding comics.
- Series backdrops are used in the new Backdrop templates (Light and Dark)
- Use Update Automatically to download Backdrops for your existing entries in batch.
* New Backdrop template in two styles: Light and Dark:
- Shows the new Backdrop images as the background.
- Fixed length Plot field and Creator & Character lists for a cleaner layout.
- Click "Show More" / "Show Less" links to expand/collapse full lists and Plot.
- Click the Rating Stars to change your personal rating without going to the Edit page.
- Click Read It "eye" icon to toggle Read It between Yes and No, no Edit Page needed.

Fixed:
- Release dates were not downloaded from central online comic database.
- Certain cover images would not download when using Add Automatically screen.
