fring is a multi-award winning mobile application that lets you make free voice calls, free video calls (one way) and live IM chats directly from your iPhone and iPod touch.

Note: Since the iPhone camera is on the opposite side of the phone (back-side) to the receiver, you can see but not transmit video during a video call.
