It's so frustrating when you think you remember a verse, but you have one or two words not quite right.
Perhaps you learned it in a different version. Perhaps you only vaguely remember it at all.
Either way, if you don't know the right words to look for then you won't be able to find the verse.

But Not Just Words is smarter than your average Bible Search app.
As well as being able to search for combinations of words it also automatically searches for other forms of your search words.
So when you search for "pray", it also looks for "prays", "praying", "prayer", "prayers", "prayed"...

And then it uses a thesaurus. So search for "speak" and it also find verses with "talk", "uttered", etc...

You can also search for references like "rom 1:4" or "Gen 1:1;Ex 12:1", or you can combine these with other searches to restrict them.
For example you can search for "pray in Romans" to find the references to prayer in the book of Romans. Or "forgive in NT" to find the new testament references to forgiveness.

The app includes the ability to search the NIV, NKJV, NASB, AMP and Darby's Bible.

What's new

Searched for words are shown in bold in the results and in the verse view.

We added a search history. The last 50 searches are saved in the history even if you close the app and relaunch.
So now you can easily go back through searches you have recently done.

We added full compatibility with iPhone5 and with iOS6.

Like before you can use "Prev" and "Next" to move through search results. But now you can also use -1 and +1 to move up and down to the verses around them.

We added a daily reading plan which will let you create your own personalised reading schedule. It will also remind you if you get behind.

We made searching with multiple words with no operators (not saying "and" or "or") do an automatic and...
So for example, searching for "God loves" will find all the verses with "God" and "love" (and all their variants).
