Electric Power and Battery Calculator

This applications is an easy to use calculator for designing direct current (DC) power plant systems. It includes necessary calculations for all essential components of a DC power plant system including rectifiers, inverters and batteries at three nominal voltages: 48V, 24V and 12V.

It comes with two views. First view provides the calculator called Engineer. The second tab provides detailed explanation of each field of the calculator, both entries and results calculated. The second tab also provides a schematic of a typical DC power plant system with all individual components as a reference.

This calculator can assist in designing of dc power systems for real-world applications such as telecommunications systems and IT networks. It can be used by engineers during design process. It can also be used by students in understanding of important concepts about reliable dc power plant design and implementation.
