We provide extended descriptions of 44 peppers including their origin and history, at least one full-color photograph, the scoville rating, how to use or serve, pronunciation, scientific and other names, and descriptions of the peppers and their plants.

The peppers we provide information on are Aji, Anaheim, Ancho, Arbol (de Arbols), Bird's Eye, Caribbean Red, Cascabel, Cayenne, Cherry, Chilaca, Chiltepin, Chipotle, Cubanelle, Dundicut, Fatalii, Fresno, Guajillo, Guntur Sannam, Habanero, Hungarian Yellow Wax, Jalapeno, Jamaican, Kashmiri, Korean, Malagueta, Manzano, Mirasol, Mulato, Naga Jolokia, Naga Viper, New Mexico, Nora, Paprika, Pasilla, Pepperoncini, Pequin, Poblano, Red Savina Habanero, Rocotillo, Santaka, Scotch Bonnet, Serrano, Tabasco, Thai, Tien Tsin, Yatsufusa.

We are also planning on adding recipes, storage and growing information, as well as more photographs.
