Bit Busy Now
Sick of people coming up and bugging you whilst your at work? Sick of people expecting you to drop everything for their requests? And with no regard to the fact you have a deadline in 2 hours?
Offices are social and noisy environments, and people expect to be able to walk up to your desk to get your attention, regardless of what you are doing. You could consider kenneling a rotweiller under your desk. However, for less extreme measures, you can use BitBusyNow, and stop them before they stop you...from working.
Simply put, BitBusyNow it is a notification app that you set for the period of time you don’t want to be disturbed and then leave it to do its thing. Its left running on your desk, in a position of prominence so it can be easily seen, and it shows a simple status indicator on whether you want to be disturbed or not.
Its simple and bold graphics communicate a traffic light system, Red meaning “Do not disturb”and green meaning “Feel free to bug me”. More astute co-workers will read the display to see how much time is left and then come back then. Regardless, this simple app, makes use of the time your phone sits on your desk or dock.
