XMP Marker for Audition
During a live audio recording session, mark timecodes and export the resulting markers as a Adobe Audition-compatible XMP file to Dropbox or send it as an email.
You can use whatever recording software or hardware you choose, independently of this app, as long as you get a WAV or BWF file out of it.
When you set the first marker, a sync sound is played to create an audible marker on your recording. After finishing the recording, simply trim the audio to have the first sample of the sync sound as its in point.
Suspending the app will not void your marker session. After resuming, new markers will still be created in sync.
You can write the XMP metadata to the WAV file of your recording using a free, cross platform software. Details are within the help section on the developer's website.
This app is a huge timesaver to create markers for track boundaries, chapters or other events when creating them in the recording software is not an option.
