PangeaVR Pro

PangeaVR Pro is a VR panorama viewer for the iPhone and iPod touch. It is exactly the same as the free version of PangeaVR except that it has been designed for professionals who need to be able to store their panoramas on the iPhone so that they can view them even when an internet connection is not available. This version allows you to download your entire panorama portfolio onto the device for viewing at any time.

PangeaVR has a database of over 100 panoramic photographers from around the world. You can view in full 360º glory, images ranging from a Saké Brewery in Japan, to a restaurant in Panama. Visit the interiors of historic cathedrals, or see the Aurora Borealis from Iceland.

What's new

PangeaVR Pro can now automatically open your XML Portfolios or your JPEG Panoramas from a web link that the user clicks on in Safari. So, a user can be browsing your web site with Safari on their iPhone, and then they can click a link which will automatically launch PangeaVR and open that portfolio or file.

To make this work you simply create a URL to the XML or JPEG file with "pangeavr://" at the beginning. So, if you want the URL to automatically show your portfolio the it might look something like this:

pangeavr://www.yoursite.com/portfolio.xml

Or, to open a specific panorama directly it might look like this:

pangeavr://www.yoursite.com/panorama.jpeg
