Monochrome helps you to easily convert batches of color images to grayscale. Monochrome gives you control over the conversion methods, tonality and filtering, so you can create a consistent set of output images. Monochrome also let you present slide shows of your images, either before or after the conversion has been completed.
• Multiple Conversion Paths
Monochrome gives you the option to convert to grayscale using either an RGB or HSL-based color mixer. In addition, you may also use Quartz Composer to define your own custom conversion process
• Batch Processing
Once you have set up your image conversion as you like, Monochrome will export the results to a folder of your choice. This export process happens in background so you can continue working without having to wait for Monochrome to finish.
• Image Previews
Monochrome has three modes for viewing images that allow you to see the original image, the converted grayscale image or a combination of both.
• Shade Browser
The Shade Browser allows you to find the parts of your image that lie within a specific tonal range. Select a target range and Monochrome highlights the pixels in your image that match that range.
• Custom Conversion Processing
If you need a highly-customized conversion process, use Quartz Composer to define your conversion workflow. Monochrome can then use your Quartz Composition to convert your images.
• Slide Shows
With the click of one button, Monochrome lets you to present a slide show of images either before or after they have been converted.
