Localizable Strings Merge
Mac OS Developer Tools
The app used by thousands and thousands of iOS and OS X developers to localize their applications.
The only tool that allows you to:
- *generate* the Localizable.strings file with the list of strings to be translated
- *merge* the strings as soon as the translators will provide you the translated strings.
All with a simple and easy user interface. An essential tool that will save you hours of work.
Supports Objective-C, Swift, Objective-C++, and C files. OS X El Capitan compatible.
We've been listening to your feedback. Now Localizable Strings Merge uses the Git-friendly UTF-8 encoding.
This version is also fully compatible with OS X 10.11 El Capitan and provides several improvements and bug fixes behind the scenes.
Please note: when you regenerate an old Localizable.strings file, you have to tell Xcode to reinterpret it as UTF-8. Select the file in the project navigator and open the File inspector on the right. In the Text Settings section, choose Unicode (UTF-8) from the Text Encoding pop-up menu. Then, in the dialog that appears, click Reinterpret.
