Backgammon Online HD is the first internet-capable backgammon iPad app using the First Internet Backgammon Server (FIBS, fibs.com). Play anywhere at any time against real people or sophisticated bots on that vivid server.
You may already know Backgammon Online, our iPhone/iPod Touch client, which is really fine. But let's be honest, the iPad is the perfect device for Backgammon, lay back and multi-drag your tiles around. Playing Backgammon on a screen has never felt so naturally!
PLEASE NOTE: This is a client for the backgammon server FIBS, it does not provide offline playing capabilities.
FEATURES:
- Creating a new account is just a matter of finding a suitable user name, no web-site visits or personal informations required
- Integrated FIBS-chat
- FIBS automatically saves all running matches
- FIBS calculates ratings for each player based on match results and other factors, thus you can easily find a player with your playing ability
- All finished matches are saved on your device so you can analyze it later on your desktop with 3rd party software
What's new
- Undo your moves by simply dragging the tiles back to their origin
- Your login name along with your rating and experience is now displayed in the players section
- Some other minor interface improvements and bugfixes
