Draw with me is an interactive activity book app that guides children through drawing different pictures by providing step-by-step instructions that they can follow. No need to worry though, because different options such as colors and pen sizes still leave a lot of creative decisions for your children. If you want an app to keep your children occupied while stretching their creative skills at the same time, then this app is definitely worth a look.

Draw with me is an interactive activity book app that guides children through drawing different pictures of plants, animals, etc. The pictures to be drawn are sorted into three levels of difficulty that can be selected on the main menu. There are 20 pictures to draw per level of difficulty so variety will not be a problem. Selecting a picture brings us to a sketchbook layout with the pad on the center and the colors, pen sizes, and other options on the bottom. On the left hand side of the sketch book are multiple post-its with shapes on them. These post-its are actually the step by step instruction on how to draw the chosen picture. Kids simply need to follow these steps to draw. There is an “Undo” button which can undo the last action, a “Trash” button for when you want to reset the pad, and a “Camera” button to take a snapshot of your drawing.

The layout and design of the app is simple and intuitive so children need not worry about how to navigate and just focus on their creativity. The app contains 120 pictures which means hours of fun and creativity for its users. I like the fact that the pictures to be chosen are black and white line drawings because even though the app teaches the step by step of how to draw it, the colors are still left to the children’s creativity. The area of the sketch pad is also large enough for users to be able to add anything else that they want into the picture. Taking a snapshot and sharing the pictures via social networking sites is also made very easy.
