Fortune Teller - 3D Paper Origami
Some people use astrology, tarot cards and horoscopes to determine their daily fortunes. Some even use voodoo, ouija boards, crystal balls and fortune cookies. But you can be the first to use a Fortune Teller!
Fortune Teller is based on the paper origami game Fortune Teller. It is also known in different parts of the world as a cootie catcher, a scrunchie and a chatterbox. This electronic version of the game is built for all ages. Although it was originally a children's game it is great fun for adults. Fortune Teller has stunning 3D graphics, sound effects, beautifully designed custom artwork, and a wide selection of pre-set and user-defined fortunes. Users can rotate the 3D fortune teller in 3 dimensions using standard iphone pinch and swipe gestures. When "idle" the fortune teller will eerily hover in space and look around while slightly opening and closing it's "mouth." It will definitely give you the mystic impression that it is truly alive!
Fortune Teller is pre-loaded with 10 Fortune Sets which include the following themes: Character, Crushes, Dares, Friendship, Love, Luck, School, Talents, When I Grow Up and When You Grow up. Although these initial fortune sets are geared towards children, they can easily be deleted using the standard iphone/ipod touch left-to-right swipe gesture. The "+" button can then be used to create any fortune set you'd like. Some ideas that you could do include making fortune sets for chores, tasks and goals. You could also make sets for your horoscope or zodiac symbol and match it up with the new zodiac skin. This makes the game fun and very entertaining for individuals of all ages. In fact, some adult users have used this fun kids game for dating and for breaking the ice with members of the opposite sex. You can also use this game to create a custom horoscope, a tarot reading, or an a astrology reading. All you need to do is add your own fortunes/readings.
Fortune Teller is also pre-loaded with 10 beautifully illustrated 'skins' which display on the 3D model. Five of which are geared towards children and five for adults. They include: Dinosaur, Egyptian, Inca, Monkey, Pig, Robot, Symbols, Tarot Cards, Tiki, Zodiac and Wonderland.
All updates to this game are free and always will be.
Slave turtle has also released the first Crystal Ball app that includes a smoke effect. It will be more realistic and customizable than any of the other crystal ball apps. We are also in the approval process for a children's tallying game called Tally HO!
This new version includes:
* a new Chinese Zodiac skin
* multilingual support for French, Spanish, German, Dutch, Japanese, Portuguese, Italian and Russian.
* Four new randomize functions - random skins, random fortune 'sets', randomized fortunes WITHIN sets, and random open/close function on 'shake' of iphone.
More fun kids games and 3d skins are in the works for the next version, and more kids games are being developed by Slave Turtle.
