Laohu Chinese

Laohu is an iPhone app that makes learning Chinese easier. Features include:

- support for simplified and traditional Chinese
- several test modes and options for building vocabulary
- ability to create and test yourself on custom vocabulary lists
- animations that teach you how to write Chinese characters in the correct stroke order
- native speaker audio pronunciation of each character in the character animations feature
- native speaker audio pronunciation of over 240 words in the Foundation Lessons feature
- custom keyboard for adding tone marks to pinyin text
- 90,000-entry Chinese-English-Chinese main dictionary
- 900-entry Chinese-English-Chinese proverbs dictionary
- YouTube tutorials, on-screen help, and full user guide for getting the most out of the app

Note: The character animations feature is under active development, and characters will continue to be added in FREE updates.
