"You can approach God with confidence. He understands. Often times our friends say things like, "I know how you feel." We know that they have no real idea of what we feel. Jesus knows humanity perfectly. Not only did He create us but also He was a man on Earth. Tell Him how you feel. You will receive "mercy" and find "grace" in your grief."

"Life is full of possible fears.

Fear of failure
Fear of rejection by people
Fear of never getting married
Fear of the death of a loved one
Fear of having committed the unpardonable sin
Fear of embarrassment
Fear of being victimized by crime
Fear of marriage or divorce
Fear of pain/illness
Fear of the future
Fear of confrontation and many other possible fears

At the core of all the above fears and others is that of death. Falling from heights ends in death. Often times we find people who have a fear of heights are those that do rock climbing. It is their desire to face their fears and to overcome them. Each of us has a fear of death to some degree simply since we are human and we have not yet faced death personally when it comes to our own life. Heb 2:14-15 highlights this fear of death:
Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death"that is, the devil" and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death."
