Touch Arcade points out that ngmoco’s new Eliminate: Gun Range app makes use of the iPhone 4′s gyroscope and that Engadget has been kind enough to post a video of the game in action. As far as we can tell, this is the first third-party app available that takes specific advantage of the iPhone 4′s gyroscope, a hardware feature not present on previous iPhone models. Eliminate: Gun Range is a fairly straight-forward game offering target-shooting challenges with more guns becoming available as you earn credits by hitting targets.

Eliminate: Gun Range is currently only compatible with the iPhone 4 though ngmoco promises that iPhone 3GS support, along with new content, are coming soon.
