Track Gently is a pedometer and location tracker that is gentle on your iPhone’s battery. It is designed to be used for extended periods without heavily using your battery. You can keep it running all the time.

*Note, Track Gently only functions on newer iPhones that have a step counter built into the accelerometer (such as the iPhone 5S and later).

Features:
•Counts your steps, estimated distance, floors climbed, calories burned, all without the GPS.
•Uses the built in step counter (pedometer) in newer iPhone's.
•Keeps daily, weekly, and intra-day totals
•Easy enough on your battery to keep running in the background for extended periods such as an entire day or longer.
•To estimate the distance walked, you can either manually enter your walking stride.

With the GPS enabled:
•Plots your locations upon a map.
•Has a high-accuracy location mode when required.
•Since continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life, you can decrease GPS accuracy or even disable the GPS to increase battery life (and the pedometer will continue to function).
