SpeakToMe

SpeakToMe is a vocal synthesis engine for your iPhone! Listen to your phone pronounce any phrase you insert, or use cut&paste to pronunce SMS and web pages.

It is also possible to change the parameters of the voice (speed, pitch) and the program remembers automatically the last 20 phrases pronounced.

The most important feature is that the program works EVERYWHERE, because it does not require a data connection!

SpeakToMe uses at its core the espeak open-source vocal synthesis engine, using a GPL license. On request, the source code of the espeak library, compiled for iPhone, is available for everyone who wishes to use it in iPhone projects and is willing to release its modifications to the library to the public.
