Podium Timer is a simple, elegant, and versatile timer designed for public speakers, and for those timing them. And now, Podium Timer acts as a REMOTE CONTROL for Podium Timer HD.

Whether you are giving a talk, presentation, speech, or lecture, Podium Timer replaces your wristwatch on the podium with something you can actually read and helps keep you informed.

Podium Timer lets you easily configure the length of your talk (up to 99 minutes) as well as the lengths, timer colors and effects, of the time periods that let you know the end is near. Podium Timer comes with four looks: a brushed metal facade with LCD numbers, a classy Walnut, or a Heads-Up display, or a black background with a glowing LED look. For each of these looks, you can pick the colors (from a dozen colors) and effects that will help you to effectively manage your time.

In addition to the standard countdown time, Podium Timer also lets you monitor the time remaining, elapsed time, and the current time, all with just a simple swipe of your nervous finger, or you can even have Podium Timer automatically cycle through the views for you. Podium Timer was superbly designed to keep you on-time, and to avoid mishaps during these particularly anxious moments of your life.

You can also include messages or reminders to yourself (or others with Podium Timer HD) during the talk without missing a beat.

If your job is to time someone's speech, Podium Timer will even keep track of the elapsed time when you (quietly) receive a text message, a calendar reminder, or even a phone call!

What's new

- Fixed: Bug with erratic behavior (e.g. counting double-time) when the iPhone app is controlling the iPad, the iPhone app goes to the background (e.g. phone call, sleep button, etc.), and then is reconnected to the iPad.

- Fixed: Bug where the coordination between the two devices is lost when the iPhone app is controlling the iPad app.

NOTE: Until both apps (Podium Timer and Podium Timer HD) are updated the automatic view cycling may not be functional when devices are connected (works fine when used alone).
