Paper Calc - calculator with printer tape
Paper Calc. A powerful, and versatile, scientific calculator with 250 lines of EMAILable virtual paper tape, a re-sizable keyboard and much more.
Make keys larger by simply sliding the LCD display up, or show more paper tape by moving the LCD display down (see screenshot). Double-tap on the LCD display to quickly clear the paper tape. A single button gives you a choice of floating, engineering (power of 3), or fixed-point number formatting. The most often used functions are on the main keyboard or scroll to the left keyboard for 25 scientific functions. There are 10 individual memories with empty/full indicators (green/red dots). Grab a number on any line for use in your current calculation (see screenshot). Select from 2 supplied keyboard layouts, or, create and save up to 3 custom layouts of your own. It's finally possible to make your own double wide Add button or add a transcedental function on the main keyboard!
Paper Calc requires iPhone OS3.1 or greater. Also see Paper Calc Scientific for Apple Pasteboard support, adjustable line-spacing and font-size.

A few notes based on feedback from users:
1. Custom keyboard layout: Each key can be any one of three different key sizes. Some people have had difficulty making the double-sized button. To do this, the space to the right of the button must be empty. Then, when you tap on the button, it will go to double size.
2. Clearing the paper tape: Press the gear/paper icon. Select 'Clear Paper Tape'.
3. 10 ea. memories: To access the memories press the 'mem' button first. Then select one of the yellow keys (clear, store, recall, add, sub). Finally, press the memory location (0-9 buttons) that you want to operate on.
4. There are two ways to use the % key:
✓ 1st: Obtain the % of number: Press '200 % 5 ='. Answer will be '10'. PaperCalc took 5% of 200.
✓ 2nd: The % of a number is used in the operation on the number: Press: '200 - 5 % ='. Answer will be '190'. PaperCalc subtracted 5% of 200 from 200.
