For Panasonic network/IP cameras.
----------- ABOUT -----------
This application was designed for the iPad to take advantage of the ample viewing area. It will work with the Panasonic series of network/IP cameras.
- Supports native 640x480 camera resolution for full view and 320x240 for multi view
- Supports 4 Network cameras
- Supports rotation, Portrait & Landscape
- Supports activating the first 4 preset positions of the cameras and the home position
- Pan/Tilt & Optical Zoom on supported cameras
- supports stretching video to fill screen
- Keep alive option which let's you adjust your video streaming to best fit your bandwidth, enabling fast switching
----------- FUNCTIONS -----------
Camera name field:
Stores a name to display on the camera selection button.
Camera URL or IP field:
For local LAN cameras, use the IP address of the camera. Example: 192.168.1.253 If you are using an external address such as Panasonics web service, you can enter mycamera.viewnetcam.com (where 'mycamera' is the name you setup for your camera)
Port number field:
Enter the port number of the camera, Example 80
User name field:
Enter the username used to access the camera.
(note that a user name with privileges to pan & tilt is required to control the camera)
Enter the password used to access the camera.
This option will keep the camera connected when switching to another camera view. This will keep the video active so the video is instant when returning to the view.
Stretch video to fit to screen:
This option will stretch the standard 640x480 window to fill the screen width.
Home = Returns the camera to it's set Home position.
P1 - P4 = Moves the camera the positions set for preset 1-4.
+ & - buttons = Zoom IN and OUT on cameras that have a mechanical zoom.
Pan Scan & Tilt Scan = Scans the entire range up & down or left & right then returns to starting position.
(This application currently does not support DIGITAL zoom)
----------- OPERATION -----------
Controllong the Pan & Tilt is done by tapping anywhere on the video, that location will become the center of the view.
From the multi view screen, tap any camera to switch to full screen view.
Note: CURRENTLY THIS APPLICATION DOES NOT SUPPORT AUDIO for Panasonic Cameras.
This application assumes a camera is configured with a username and password and is accessable VIA a standard HTTP:// address.
