PalettePro allows users to take advantage of the iPhone or iPad camera to sample colors from subjects and store those hexadecimal, RGB, CMYK color modes for later use.

Web developers can use this application to sample real-life colors and use them in their apps.

Interior decorators and graphic designers can use this application to help match client colors for their projects.

Another use is to sample a color seen to later match for matching paint at the home decorating store or for a web developer matching colors for a web site design.

NOTE: The camera's color sampling will vary based on your lighting. If the surface is highly reflective the results may not be as you expect. The same is true in very low-light conditions.
