There are plenty of flashlight and torch apps for the iPhone but not one like this! The LED plug turns your iPhone into a real LED flashlight that emits a real beam of light. However, not only for everyday use, this app is a useful utensil, but also in an emergency case. By pressing a button the torch sends out the worldwide standard Morse Code SOS signal. So that you can give even in the deepest jungle, where there is no Wifi and mobile network a distress signal. But let us hope you never have to really make use of it ;-)

IMPORTANT NOTE!
For the practical use of this app with the iPhone (it does not work with iPod-Touch !) you need an LED connector that you can purchasem at the HMB-TEC.de Web Store. For more information, refer to the help of the App.

DIY Hobby-Electronics can also produce the plug itself, by simply solder a LED on a 4-pin jack between the left and right headphone output channel (the polarity of the diode not important).

The operation of this ipocket Flash Light is extremely simple:
- Connect the LED plug to the headphone jack of your iPhone (it does not work with iPod-Touch !)
- Run the app and set the audio volume to maximum
- Once you start now press the button for the flashlight, the LED will light
- And goes off when you release the button again
- For continuous light also press the button and then dragging while holding the button pressed down until it clicks
- To turn off simply press the button again
- You can vary the beam intensity and brightness of the LED flashlight by dragging the slider
