In case of emergency or crisis , iCodeRed may just be the app for a quick 'single-tap' quick dial to a configurable phone number and location of your whereabout!
This increases the chance of immediate attention when face with danger; for old folks, kids and anyone that may face danger, risk overcome by anxiety when the situation calls for.
The receiver (e.g. spouse, colleague) of the alert (call and email) will be able to answer the call, click onto the given email link and open up the whereabouts of their location.
9/10 Rating!
"iCodeRed is Like Having John Wayne in Your Pocket. 9/10 rating!" Michael Alexander, AppCraver.com
How it works?
iCodeRed uses inbuilt GPS system to retrieve the current location of the user. Once the current location is gathered, it sends out the emergency email with the following details to the receiver.
1.Unique Machine ID
2.Date and Time of the event.
3.Latitude and longitude of the location where the user triggered the application.
It then initiates a call to the predefined phone number.
To setup iCodeRed:
1. Go to settings screen by clicking settings button in bottom left of the main screen.
2. Enter the phone number and email of the receiver (e.g. spouse, colleague) and click save button.
*Note: 3G or Wifi connection is needed to send out email. Accuracy of the location depends on the inbuilt GPS system in iPhone. If accurate location is not retrieved, email will not be sent to the receiver.
