ECEApps: Resistor Tools

For all of you electrical or computer engineers out there - or just plain old hobbyists - this app is for you!

Have you ever been doing calculations to design a circuit, and come up with a required resistor value of like 1.632 kilo-ohms? Obviously, that's not a standard value...

So what do you do? You go through all of your resistors and try to find two or three that you can put together to make that required resistance... But that takes time...

Well, not any more! Now, you just punch in that number into this app and it does all the work for you!

But what if, instead of having all of the possible standard resistor values, you only have a small assortment at your home workbench? No problem - just select the resistors that you DO have and have it limit its search to those!

What's new

Modified the multiple finder's logic for the following benefits:

• Error messages don't erase things and show what had an error being calculated
• Va, Vb and Vc are now better intertwined with N to allow for a different type of calculation
