Do you consolidate your credit card statements every month?

Are you sure that when you ate out last time, the waiter didn't give himself the freedom to add 5 dollars to his tips?

This app uses a popular technique to make it very easy to ensure your tip amount wasn't modified by the waiter. It calculates a total amount in which the sum of the total dollar digits equals the cents.

For example, if your dinner bill is $50, normally, a 15% tip is $7.50, and the total is $57.50.

Tips Calc will round the dollar portion to 58, and since 5+8=13, the total will be $58.13.

So, when you get your credit card statements, you can give it a quick glance, and make sure all the restaurant charges conform to this checksum pattern. No need to dig out all the receipts and compare each charge. Save time, and keep your peace of mind.
