The Day&Night-Clock is a genius combination of a 24h display with the analogue face of a clock.
The time of the bright day are placed in the upper part, the time of the dark night is shown in the lower part. So the hour hand with the symbol of the sun is moving in the course of the sun in the northern hemisphere: on the left side 6 o'clock in the morning is the position of the East (Orient) and the sun rise. 12 o'clock midday is high noon (zenith) and on the right side 18h (6pm) is the position of the Occident and the sun set. Followed by the hours of the dark night, where midnight at 24h (12am) is place at the deepest night position.
B.t.w. the left side of the face of the clock is "am", the right side shows "pm".
The spectacular high light of the Day&Night-Clock is its dynamic adaption of the bright and dark hours of a day. The length of the night is shown depending of the season of the year and your location on the earth.
Since 2002 we tried to realize the Day&Night-Clock as a wall clock or a watch, but now the electronic display was the successful way.
