In the current trend of globalization, the expansion of international cooperation in general and cultural exchanges in particular is an indispensable requirement for development. However, the richness and charm of Vietnamese culture have not been promoted deeply enough.

Through the production and the cooperative production of programs, documentaries, reportages and other audiovisual products about the images and culture of Vietnam and the Vietnamese people, Center for Press and International Communication Cooperation (CPI) has play a significant role in introducing Vietnamese culture to the world.

To make the most of these advantages, and with the same desire to build and develop existing publications of the CPI more comprehensively and profoundly on the current technology platforms to strongly promote Vietnamese culture, we created this application called “Vietnam Discovery”.

“Vietnam Discovery” brings the Vietnamese culture and civilization into your pocket with over 10000??? videos. Elegant, friendly and intuitive user interface in both English and Vietnamese allows you to enjoy the best travel, adventure, and discovery experiences. Especially, you can also mark and manage unlimited videos using favourites.

→ Main functions:
Look up and sort information about Vietnamese culture and its people across 10 categories:

1. Cultural Festivals

Introduce the most typical characters of nearly 500 big and small traditional festivals throughout the country, such as Yen Tu, Huong Pagoda, Thanh Giong and Kin Pang Then Festival…

2. Traditional Craft Villages

Introduce and advertise traditional craft villages and their products which are becoming popular all over the world for the unique culture-rich traits and diversified designs.

3. Vietnamese Cuisine

Introduce the specific characteristics of Vietnamese cuisine through each dish and specialities of 54 nationalities living on different geographic areas of the country.

4. Vietnam Integration and Development

“Phong” are the wide-spread habits while “Tuc” are the long-standing ones. Customs and traditions consist of every aspect of social life in each region of Vietnam.

Trong thế giới toàn cầu hóa hiện nay, việc mở rộng giao lưu hợp tác quốc tế nói chung và ngoại giao văn hóa nói riêng là một yêu cầu tất yếu để phát triển. Tuy nhiên, nhiều mầu sắc và phong vị văn hóa của Việt Nam chưa được quảng bá sâu mà còn chỉ dừng lại ở “bề nổi”.

Thông qua các việc sản xuất, hợp tác sản xuất các chương trình, tài liệu, phóng sự và các sản phẩm nghe nhìn khác về hình ảnh, văn hóa đất nước, con người Việt Nam, Trung tâm Báo chí và Hợp tác truyền thông Quốc tế (CPI) đã góp phần không nhỏ trong việc giới thiệu văn hóa Việt Nam ra thế giới.

Tận dụng những ưu điểm này, cùng mong muốn xây dựng và phát triển những ấn phẩm đã có của Trung tâm Báo chí và Hợp tác truyền thông Quốc tế (CPI) một cách toàn diện và sâu sắc hơn trên nền tảng công nghệ hiện tại trở thành công cụ quảng bá mạnh mẽ nền văn hóa Việt Nam, chúng tôi đã cho ra đời úng dụng “Khám phá Việt Nam”.
