TripBits

TripBits provides a way to share pictures and short audio comments about interesting things you encounter when travelling. These 'bits' are tagged with the GPS location and uploaded to the TripBits web site.

Folks can either view trips in their web browser, or download them to TripBits on their own iPhone, where it can alert them to nearby features worth investigating when they are travelling in the vicinity. One could imagine downloading some trips taken on a scenic route being contemplated for instance.

TripBits doesn't just have to be used for trips, but might also be used for many other things, such as hiking and biking guides, quick ski or surf reports and many other location based things.
