The San Francisco Treasure Walks features three self-guided tours:
• Chinatown Walk: Step through the Gateway Arch and immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and smells of the most famous Chinatown in the world. If you have to stop for Dim Sum in the middle of your Treasure Walk, we understand.
• Haight Ashbury Guide: Check out the birthplace of the 60s, the Summer of Love, and the center of the San Francisco Renaissance.
• Hitchcock's San Francisco: Legendary director Alfred Hitchcock used the city as a backdrop to one of his most famous films, Vertigo. See the film come alive on this walking tour of Hitchcock's San Francisco.
Off-line GPS guided tour and scavenger hunt app. To use the app off-line be sure to access a wifi connection when you open the app and each time you lose gps signal, for example if you ride the tube or subway.
DISCLAIMER: Continuous use of GPS can dramatically decrease your iPhone's battery life. If you would like to take a break from the tour, simply pause it. Pausing stops the background GPS tracking; you can resume the tour anytime later.
What's new
Removed registration requirement. Users can now take tours and post
tours to Facebook without registering. Registration is only required to
post scores to Leaderboard.
