GoSwedish - A friendly introduction to Swedish
Hej! So glad you want to go Swedish with me. This app is filled with useful Swedish words and phrases to help you get comfortable listening, understanding and speaking Swedish.
It's really not so hard! I'll teach you the basics, along with lots of useful words and phrases. I can also help you with some of the tricky pronunciations, tell you a bit about Swedish culture, and even give you a few grammar tips.
All of the content is contained in the app, so once it's downloaded you don't need to be online. You can GoSwedish when you're riding the subway or even while flying to Sweden.
Each lesson is a deck of cards containing words or phrases in English and Swedish. To learn new words, view the English first and then tap to see and hear the Swedish translation. Or if you want to practice listening, you can see and hear the Swedish first, and then tap to reveal the English equivalent.
In the latest version there is now a quiz mode that helps you to focus on learning the trickier words and phrases.
