This Citywalksz application offers the user a complete guided walking tour of the capital city of Wellington, New Zealand. The tour takes you on a 1 ½ to 2 hour walking tour throughout Wellington, although you may extend or shorten the tour to your own pace. You decide how long you want to stay at each attraction, or if you want to stop at shops or cafes along the way. There is no hassle of following along with a tour group! You will stop at ten attractions, each with detailed information about the spot including the importance behind it. Also offered within the app are multiple side points of interest throughout the city. You will learn the general history of Wellington and the important buildings that shape the city’s character. All information is offered in both the written and audio form.

The app has a comprehensive map of Wellington, as well as detailed walking directions from point to point. The map and the directions can be used and followed without 3G or internet connection, so download from home or Wi-Fi and avoid needing a data plan or paying for roaming prices.
