This app is designed specifically for the Hood to Coast Relay 2009 by two runners who love HTC and iPhones. We want you to be able to trick-out your relay experience as much as possible. With the HTC Relay iPhone app, you can do it all! You can record total time, handoffs, leg times, and paces. You can email spreadsheets of predictions and results, view maps of the course, and even view a map of your progress in real-time.
Best of all, this program is powered by Twitter and can exchange race info automatically between as many iPhones as you want, allowing you to see how your team is doing in real time, as long as there is cell-phone reception. Moreover, it is designed to work seamlessly in those parts of the course where the reception is spotty. This app also allows for real-time tracking of the progress of the current runner if he/she is carrying an iPhone. It also allows you to compare how you're doing to other teams using this app. The HTC Relay 2009 iPhone app brings 21st Century technology to your Hood to Coast experience. Get from Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood to Seaside, Oregon in style with HTC Relay.
This app can even work for Portland to Coast, too!
We've listened to your feedback, updated the user-interface, and even added a feature allowing you to rank your team's progress relative to other teams in real-time.
