FairCoach app is for volunteer coaches who believe in equal playing time for all players. Simply mark the role as team members arrive, then at game time, flick to the Substitutions screen and let FairCoach create your substitution schedule with a single button press. You can even pass your phone/ipad to an unskilled assistant (let the parents take turns to encourage involvement) and allow them to run the subs bench according to the schedule, allowing you to concentrate on match tactics and team positions.
Using FairCoach means you cannot be accused of bias - even if your own son/daughter is in the team.
FairCoach is accurate and takes the math out of tricky calculations. Never again will you have to divide a game into 7 or 13 slices, or track which 3 players are due for a rest.
FairCoach is also a handy database for player info. Store phone number, rego number, date of birth, parents names, and other useful info.
Text and phone individual players, or purchase (In-App) the communicator module to send SMS messages to all or selected players.
FairCoach is installed with a set of 9 dummy players. Before deleting the 9 dummy players, play with the buttons and settings to get the gist. Delete the dummy players when ready by pressing [Edit] on top left of the player list.
When entering your real team data, be sure to include a mobile phone number for each player. It doesn't matter if the phone belongs to Mother/Father/Guardian, so long as they accept responsibility for being point of contact. A full set of phone numbers makes communicating with your team a breeze.
Use the official Game Clock for indoor games such as Basketball and Ice Hockey, or use the built in Timer for referee timed sports. The dummy configuration is for a 5 player game played in 20 minute halves. Settings are easily modified to suit almost all sports. (FairCoach is not suitable for a six chukka polo match - sorry chaps).
If approached by a parent who asks "Why are you giving all players equal time? Surely the goal is to win!" offer your cap.
