PhotoSMS - SMS on Custom Backgrounds

PhotoSMS lets you compose Unlimited FREE text messages on iPhone and iPod touch while looking at your favorite photos! Never pay to send a text again! Send texts to your contacts or friends that use our supported carriers. For the most part these carriers are in the United States.

Just use the "Choose Background Picture" button to choose your own custom background image from your photo library to compose your message on. When you close the app the background is saved and automatically loaded the next time you run the app.

[NOTE]
The backgrounds DO NOT get sent with the SMS. They are there to enhance the user experience while composing the message.

Easy to use interface:
1) Type a phone number OR select from your contacts list
2) Type in your message
3) Choose the recipient's carrier -
If you don't know it you can select all carriers
4) Click "Send SMS"

If the phone number of the person is:
(111) 222-3333
In the To: field you would type:
1112223333

Make sure the phone number is in this format to be able to send the text to your contact. If you choose a contact from your phone contacts you may need to modify the phone number to get it into this format. PhotoSMS will take out the parenthesis and dashes for you, but you may need to remove a leading "1" from the number. See the screenshots for examples.

Your text will be sent through your email account so you CAN receive replies back straight to your email. Never be left out again!

Cricket
Nextel
Sprint
T-Mobile
US Cellular
Verizon
Virgin Mobile
OR select ALL

If you want a free texting app and want it to be different from the others, then this is definitely the app for you!

Note: The receiver of the text may have to pay SMS fees from their carrier if they do not have a texting plan.
