App removed from site
We're sorry, "Star Atlas" has been removed from the App Store.
Please return to the front page and use the search box above to find another app.
Select a constellation, a Messier object or a double star from the list or select a chart from an index map. You can scroll around the chart and mirror or rotate it. You can zoom in and out by pinching. Zoom range: 0.5x–3.0x. You can also zoom in by double-tap and zoom out by two-finger tap
The sky is divided into 18 charts. One chart covers about 4h x 50° (polar areas: 8h x 40°). Charts contain over 25 000 stars to magnitude 7.5 and all 110 Messier objects. Projection is equidistant azimuthal projection.
Stars have Bayer designation (Greek letters) or Flamsteed numbers to magnitude 6.0, except some crowded places.
Please see demo video and my other astronomy programs on support site.
