Then this App is a useful tool to give you an overview on how far you machine/system complies with the requirements of the 2006/42/EC Machine Directive. A check list guides you through the essential points of the machine directive. Finally,
you obtain an overview of the fulfilled criteria and/or open points that you are able to send you own computer as a PDF for further processing.
You can also determine the required Performance Level (PLr) with the risk graph according to EN ISO 13849-1 or ascertain the MTTFd value for a safety function.
Both help you to get a feeling for risk estimation of hazards and the failure probability of safety functions.
In addition, you can access the most current information from the world of functional safety technology via Facebook and use the built-in navigation to find your next contact person at Phoenix Contact on the topic of functional safety.
