imiwa? (Japanese dictionary)

This application is a multilingual Japanese dictionary for iPhone and iPod touch devices. The dictionary files are embedded in the application so that the dictionary service is available at all times with no additional cost.
Imiwa? was created using the amazing JMdict files from the Electronic Dictionary Research and Development Group based on the work of Jim Breen on the EDICT project.

Use the Japanese keyboard to look-up words in kana/kanji.
You may use the excellent Traditional Chinese character recognition keyboard for on-screen drawing of Kanjis.
Look-up in ramaji is as well supported.

Imiwa? now uses the iSpeech® technology to synthesize voice in many languages including Japanese! This function requires a network connection.

Addresses a list migration issue introduced in 3.1 for some users, your previous lists will be recovered if you did not delete the app at some point.

Disabled single latin character search in example sentences to avoid endless lookups (single kana and kanji search is still ok)

Conjugation of the Yodan-る(e.g. Gozaru)
Conjugation of the Godan-る verb special class (e.g. 問う)

iOS4 support temporarily discontinued due to inability to test with this iOS version, support for iOS 4.3 and above will return when I can test again.
