The great Japanese woodcut master, in your pocket! Hiroshige Envi brings thousands of Ando Hiroshige's "floating world" woodblock prints (ukiyo-e) from the Web to your iPhone. It's 19th century Japan experienced through the eyes of one of its most expressive chroniclers.
From the 53 stations of the Tokaido and 69 stations of the Kisokaido roads to the 100 Famous Views of Edo (the great eastern capital) and beyond, Hiroshige Envi displays Web-based ukiyo-e the way you would expect on the iPhone: full screen, with multi-touch controls, in automated slide shows or scrolling thumbnail arrays. Cities, towns, countryside, nature, people, legends. Hiroshige painted it all, and Hiroshige Envi brings it all to you.
