gcYachtClubs is a compilation of 130 regional Gulf Coast area yacht clubs which have established websites, depicting their social events, elected officers, training programs, publications, and classes for boating safety and navigation.

gcYachtClubs provides the user with a quick geographic and contact reference for 130 major yacht clubs along the Gulf Coast, including the states of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida. From app startup, the user can search for a specific club or tap the “Map” button and see all clubs on the Gulf Coast area map, and with Location Services activated, can view their proximity in relationship to any and all Gulf Coast clubs.

Tapping on any of the red pins, will provide the club name and coordinates, plus tapping on the blue & white chevron will provide useable contact info of the specific yacht club. Users can quickly locate their yacht club of interest, view the club’s website, the club’s contact information, and search the club’s region for local businesses, parks, historical landmarks, and other valuable attractions.

Users can also edit essential contact information of any club by selecting the "Edit Club Info" button on the popup screen when a specific club is touched. The editing feature provides a means for updating the club contact information which is subject to change periodically, or personal contact information, if preferred.

gcYachtClubs is useful for both Gulf Coast club members and visitors who need a handy reference, for distant travelers, event cruisers by land and water, club members, and prospects.
