Title 11 (or 11 USC) - the federal bankruptcy statutes - in a browseable and searchable format right on your iPhone or iPod Touch. No network connection is required. Browse hierarchically or jump from section to section using the browse buttons. Bookmark your favorite sections for rapid retrieval. Search three ways using the built-in search engine.
Great for lawyers, law students, accountants, and other practitioners who need to quickly look up code sections on-the-go.
Use your device's built-in mail application to email code sections or subsections.
The statutes are based on the 2007 codification plus all changes reflected in 121 STAT and 122 STAT (2007 and 2008). (See note below regarding status of dollar figures in the code). This is intended as a reference while on-the-go, and you should not rely on this application as a primary reference.

Note: several of the reviews state that the code is out of date with respect to dollar amounts, for example for exemptions. Note that this is an inaccurate complaint; the text of the code is fully up-to-date. 11 USC 104 provides that updated dollar figures shall be periodically published in the Federal Register. These updated figures do not, however, amend the code itself.
The latest released version of this app adds the contents of the Federal Register Vol 72., No. 30 as "editor's notes" to sections 101, 109, 303, 507, and 522 *AND* adds the updated figures parenthetically into the text.
Finally, note that statutes are frequently updated. At the time this app was submitted, it represented all changes to the statutes as of Jan. 1, 2009. This app is intended as a mobile convenience; if accuracy is important, you should always rely instead on original source material.
