The next best thing to actually going into space, in your pocket! Astronaut Envi brings thousands of Web-based space photos to your iPhone or iPod touch. If you've always wanted to be a space traveler, or just like looking at the amazing images our astronauts have returned, Astronaut Envi is for you.

From the initial Mercury and Gemini missions, through Apollo, the Space Shuttle and the International Space Station, Astronaut Envi displays Web-based NASA space photos the way you would expect on the iPhone: full screen, with multi-touch controls, in automated slide shows or scrolling thumbnail arrays. Mission patches, photos of the astronauts themselves, a half century of Kennedy Space Center archives -- they're all available through Astronaut Envi.
