Architect Envi

The world's greatest buildings from the world's greatest modern architects, in your pocket! Architect Envi brings Web-based photos of the works of the great 20th and 21st century architects to your iPhone. It's a great way to get an understanding of the style of a particular architect, or to check out the details of a particular building. (If you're looking for earlier architects, please try Architect Envi Deluxe)

From the Sydney Opera House to the Louvre Pyramid, the Guggenheim and Getty museums to the new Disney Concert Hall, Architect Envi displays Web-based architecture photos the way you would expect on the iPhone: full screen, with multi-touch controls, in automated slide shows or scrolling image arrays. Skyscrapers, college buildings, places of worship, museums, homes. Gaudi, Gehry, I.M. Pei, Frank Lloyd Wright. Architect Envi brings them all from the Web to you, organized by architect and structure.

The app is also more than just a bunch of pretty pictures. It includes access to in-depth information on buildings and architects, and even the ability to view their locations in the Maps application.
