Mobile Data for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch enables data collection to improve productivity in business. Mobile Data client connects to Mobile Data Studio, an integrated mobile project design studio, powerful wireless client and server, and data management system.

Mobile Data projects are developed in Mobile Data Studio by a simple 'drag and drop' process. Three projects are provided here in Mobile Data:
* 'Track Assets' in the field using GPS and camera images, and record the operational status of the assets;
* 'Field Service Report' to deploy, manage and record repair and maintenance of plant and equipment. Add parts and prices for service in the field, using Mobile Data Studio; Dynamic Data function can manage thousands of parts; and
* 'Office Workstation' to assess the ergonomics and safety of computer workstations; each assessment point is supported by guidance notes for informed and consistent assessments. Tap point caption to see guidance notes.

Settings menu in Mobile Data enables TCP/IP connection to Mobile Data Studio, either by WiFi or mobile telephone network. A simple process, but again supported by instructions provided in Mobile Data Studio Skills online training via Support link below. Mobile Data operates in both 'connected' and 'unconnected' modes.

What's new

The 7.1.1 features improvements to usability and stability of the application. This upgrade is highly recommended for all user, and includes:

* GPS points now have a better user interface indicating their status, and users now have better controls to ensure that recorded position data is not replaced if a session is edited later in a different location.

* User interface improvements have been made to Camera point, scrolling in multiline Edit points, keyboard selection across iPhone and iPad devices for numeric inputs, and bug fixes in Math and Logic points.
