"Kauri Goods" - a systematic catalog of consumer goods. It allows you to do the following:

* Specifying goods to another person (by scanning the barcode with the built-in camera, you find the item in the dictionary and then you can pass a link to this product to another person via iMessage / email / sms and other means of communication. For example, you are in a store, and you need to check with your wife, who is sitting at home, what kind of diapers to buy)

* To find out what your friends recommend to buy and what they buy themselves (because we often trust the opinion of friends)

* Write about product you liked (or didn’t). As consumers, we need a tool for detecting and reporting defective products. If you tried a product and wrote a review, the system will remind you whether to buy it again in future.

* Specifying the price (Application contains prices of most well known chain stores. If you are already in a store, you can always check the average price for a product, or offers from other stores)

* Search for an alternative product

The main feature of the aggregation of this handbook is the maker`s barcode. If the system cannot find your product, you can specify it`s characteristics by yourself. Reference is constantly growing and improving. In the summer of 2013 it has more than 6 millions of products of very different categories: food, beverages, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, automotive parts, home appliances, computer equipment, etc.

For each of your actions you earn points that are used to compete with other users.

And so you have:
* Search products by barcode or name;
* You can put in your opinion and write a review for any product;
* Adding and editing products;
* Download pictures of products;
* Integration with social networks;
* Prices of goods;
* Links to the product through the application;
* Links to the product on the Internet through social networks or Email;
* Favorite products;
* History of the user;
* Ratings of users;
* Product ratings;
* Products of the manufacturer / brand / author;
