View over 6,000 photochroms from the United States, Canada, the Bahamas, Cuba, Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales, Algeria, the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Germany, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, Belgium, Denmark, France, the Riviera, the Holy Land, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, and Switzerland.

An internet connection is required.

Photochroms—color lithographs made from photographic negatives—were popular for a few decades from about 1890 on, before color photography was commercially viable. These are from the Library of Congress collection, all of which are now in the public domain.

You can scroll through all of them in a grid, view them full-screen, or see a slideshow. You can also buy prints and link to the Library of Congress page for each photochrom. Images are sized to fill the screen (iPhone/iPod Touch or iPad).

This Ultimate version includes all photochroms from Volumes 1, 2, and 3 at a savings over the separate apps.
