I prefer this over precoder as I don not have to have it running all the time with my iPhone in my hand pointing at scenes i may or may not record. The super fast startup time allows me to switch to it from the background and just starts to record. Precoder is a little slower to fire up so I miss the couple of seconds that it was designed to prerecord. While I might miss a second or two getting my iPhone out and then switching to the app the super fast start up makes the difference.
