After installing the app, simply download your choice of map via WiFi: either the complete map of North America (1.3GB), individual maps of the states you need (approx 50MB) or maps of specific cities (7-20MB). If you prefer to download the complete map of the USA via iTunes rather than WiFi, our unlimited use, full-featured CoPilot Live USA GPS navigation is available in the iTunes store—under Paid Apps for $4.99.

What's new

This update is packed with new features, including:

- A free upgrade to the enhanced ActiveTraffic™ service for all current Premium Live Services subscribers.
- Updated Q2 2010 North America map data available to download directly from your phone. Adds thousands of new miles of roads in the U.S. and Canada and hundreds of map improvements submitted by customers.
- In-app MapSure™ reporting. You can now submit MapSure map update requests directly from CoPilot Live.

The update also brings the following customer requested improvements:

- Additional support for iOS 4 multitasking. Reduces the amount of idle time until GPS running in the background is turned off to avoid battery drain.
- Improved memory usage (particularly for 3G and 3Gs users).
